Angie Freeman is a self-taught street dancer and stepper who was raised in multiple cities across the U.S. Combining true passions for hip-hop, step, body percussion, and stomp, Angie founded a performance group called Xpressiv B.T.Z (beats) which was birthed at Oakland University in Michigan. Angie’s experience as a sister of Zeta Sigma Chi Sorority, Inc. gave Angie the motivation to create choreography and share with others. Soon thereafter, Angie began teaching hip-hop and body percussion workshops in Michigan, South Florida and Vermont. After 2 years of training and other dance related work in Los Angeles, Angie joined forces with Molodi, a body percussion ensemble in Las Vegas.
