This free monthly interactive vocal workshop will take students (K-12) through the science of vocal warm-ups, have you singing along with some of the best warmups, and help you develop a structured approach to warming up your voice on your own. Taught by voice teacher Billy Gollner, this workshop will feature a mix of traditional academic-style lectures, practical exploration (singing together)!

Meet your teacher - Billy Gollner

Billy Gollner is a singer, musician, voice teacher, and piano/guitar teacher currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Billy has performed in virtually every performance setting from opera to rock concerts, singing over an orchestra to performing in musical theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Currently, Billy stays busy running his private teaching studio in Vancouver, Canada, and serves as a Faculty Member at Capilano University in their Musical Theatre and Acting for Stage & Screen Program where he teaches Voice Lessons, Group Singing Classes/Masterclasses, and VoiceOver Acting classes. In London, Billy had the honor of teaching singing at the Urdang Academy (a London-based Performing Arts University) in their Bachelor’s of Musical Theatre Program. Billy feels so lucky to teach students from all over the world online, from London to Australia, Singapore to Alaska, Brazil to Japan. In addition, Billy has had the distinct honor of being mentored by renowned vocal pedagogue, Jeanie LoVetri, and has served as a member of her faculty in her Somatic Voicework™ teacher trainings.
Billy holds a Master of Arts degree from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Musical Theatre Performance, a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Vancouver Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Art, and Technology from Simon Fraser University, and a Certificate of Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University. Billy sits on the board for The National Association for Teachers of Singing's Vancouver Chapter. In addition, he is an active member of both The British Columbia Registered Music Teacher's Association and The Somatic Voicework™ Teacher's Association.
