Wyatt HopkinsDancer
Wyatt Hopkins was raised in Mayfield, Utah and has been a performer for over thirteen years. As a nationally ranked, Utah State Champion Power Tumbler and Trampolinist, he also traveled the country clogging and ballroom dancing with the Dance Works Studio in Gunnison, Utah. After graduating from Gunnison Valley High School, Wyatt was offered and accepted the Ambassador Leadership Scholarship at Dixie State University. During his time at Dixie, he joined the Dance Company and Ballroom Team while he earned his Associate of Science degree. Wyatt’s first professional entertainment contract was with Tuacahn Amphitheater’s productions of “Hairspray” and Disney’s “Aladdin.” From there, he was offered an acrobatic contract in “Cirque De La Mer” at Seaworld San Diego, the first of many exciting theme park and corporate shows. At Universal Studios Orlando, he workshopped, premiered, and became the dance captain for “Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Review” and soon after made his stuntman debut as a Durmstrang in Wizardly World of Harry Potter’s “Tri-Wizard Cup Tournament”. On the Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Castle Stage, Wyatt earned his Actors Equity Association membership in “Dream Along with Mickey,” before enjoying his favorite dancing opportunity alongside the Sanderson Sisters in “Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular” during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. And lastly, the Prince in “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage,” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Between shows, Wyatt was able to backup dance for artists like Lance Bass, Sheena Easton, Bella Blue, and Ke$ha. Wyatt recently traveled the country performing as Sportacus, the epic superhero from the Nickelodeon acclaimed TV show – “LazyTown.” His performances as Sportacus brought him to thousands of children and families, teaching Sportacus’ superhero moves to help save the day at special events and solo-performances at elementary schools, American Heart Association Heartwalks, and intensive care units for children fighting for their health in hospitals. Now performing in Las Vegas as a generalist in “Le Rève – The Dream” at Wynn Las Vegas. Wyatt is living his dream on the Las Vegas Strip.
