CAMPS & CLASSES

Mini 4WD Racing & Engineering Class: Get ready to build, race, and engineer! In this hands-on STEM class, students will design, assemble, customize, and race their own Mini 4WD vehicles while exploring the exciting world of engineering and friendly competition.
 

Throughout the six-week program, students will learn the fundamentals of basic physics and mechanics as they discover how factors such as weight distribution, aerodynamics, friction, stability, and speed affect their car's performance on the track. Using simple tools and guided instruction, participants will develop practical building skills while experimenting with different strategies to improve their vehicles.

 

Students will strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through trial and error as they test modifications, analyze results, and make adjustments to create the perfect balance of speed and control. The class also emphasizes patience, perseverance, creativity, and sportsmanship, encouraging students to support one another while embracing both successes and setbacks.
