In the Community

When generosity meets creativity, powerful things happen and last month, Los Vaqueros Las Vegas proved that once again. With a heartfelt donation to Positively Arts, they're helping young performers find their voice, their confidence, and their place in the spotlight. Every amazing organization has to start somewhere even if it's around a table with some friends.  Los Vaqueros started as some friends who got together in the spirit of giving back. What started as casual meetups at restaurants rapidly evolved into a structured nonprofit dedicated to giving back to Nevada. Over the years, they’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars and donated countless goods to help in all different sectors of Nevada. Without organizations like Los Vaqueros Non-Profits like us wouldn't be able to flourish as much as we are able to. Their generosity fuels our mission and reminds us that when a community comes together to support its youth, the ripple effect is limitless.

Los Vaqueros generously donated $5,000 to Positively Arts to support the 2026 Annual Musical and Sunshine Fund. Our annual musical is put on every year including any kid who would want to try out for it. Kids get to help write the musical as well as create songs or have influence on choreography and scenes, creating the musical with the help of our amazing staff. Our first musical was in 2022 called “The Audition Room”. Over the years all the musicals combined go through what it's like to be a performer and go through the struggles of auditioning all the way to performing in the actual show. Highlighting topics like self doubt, managing friendships, and comparison. Through these musicals it gives artists a way to express themselves and always see the good in every situation they are out in.

The Sunshine Fund was created last year for students who either have cancer and or have an immediate family member with it and are going through active treatment. With something as serious as this we know how hard it can be for students who love to perform and participate in classes, but may not have the opportunity due to medical bills. To counter this and ensure that every child can attend the classes they want to, the Sunshine Fund was created. Thanks to Los Vaqueros $2,500 will be directly contributing to this fund and giving students who need it most, access to classes in hard times. We’re deeply grateful for their support and proud to stand alongside an organization whose roots run deep in both friendship and philanthropy. Together, we’re building a brighter, more creative future for the next generation.
